Several years ago I was busy making plans to retire. I wanted to relocate to a fantasy place. I had always been interested in finding a home on one of Canada's maritime coasts so I sent email enquiries to cities and chambers of commerce in; Halifax, St. John, St. John's, Moncton, Charlottetown, Victoria and Nanaimo. The best and most immediate response came from Victoria with greetings from Karen Chester. Over the course of the next two to three years, I enjoyed regular updates from Karen, keeping my dream to move to Victoria alive and well.
